Stacey Rein, President
Stacey has been the President of the United Way of Ulster County since 1994. She has worked in the health and human service field her entire professional life, beginning in 1973, as a high school student, at The Children’s Village in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Her responsibilities at United Way include oversight of all United Way functions including workplace campaigns, major gifts, finances, marketing, special events, community services, fund distribution, and program evaluation. She is also responsible for grant writing to support various United Way initiatives, and provides training and technical assistance in grant writing, and program development and evaluation to local agencies, and volunteers. She is a well-regarded public speaker and Mistress of Ceremonies.
Su Marcy, Vice President
Su is responsible for the coordination of the annual workplace campaign and is the liaison for campaign volunteers including Loaned Executives and Employee Campaign Managers. Su coordinates special events including the Day of Caring, the annual United Way Golf Tournament, and the Celebration of Women Mentors, chairs the Ulster County Board of the Emergency Food & Shelter Program, staffs United Way’s Housing and Substance Abuse Prevention committees, and serves as the Secretary for Raising HOPE. Su has been with the United Way since 2004.
Lisa Colon, Finance Manager
As Finance Manager, Lisa’s responsibilities include handling the organization’s day-to-day bookkeeping, tracking campaign pledges, paying funded agencies, preparing monthly financial reports for the United Way Board of Directors and for the Raising HOPE Leadership Council, and reporting payroll. She also assists in preparing the United Way’s annual operating budget, and works with auditors in preparation of the United Way’s annual audit. Lisa also serves as the human resource staff person, keeping track of plans and contracts affecting employees, as well as personnel policy benefits. Lisa has been with the United Way since July 2014.
