Day of Caring

The annual Day of Caring involves more than 250 volunteers from 20 local companies and civic organizations engaged in working to make our community stronger and better for us all.

What is the Day of Caring?
It is a one-day event organized by the United Way of Ulster County in which local businesses and organizations send teams of employees as volunteers to work 3-4 hours on various projects throughout the county for United Way Partner Agencies and other local non-profit agencies. Individual volunteers are welcome to participate.  Service projects usually take place in the morning and all volunteers and agency personnel are invited to a picnic at the Robert Post Pavilion, Town of Ulster park, on the banks of the Hudson from noon to 2 p.m. to celebrate the day!

When is the next Day of Caring? – Wednesday, September 11, 2019
