Emergency and Homelessness Prevention Fund Application

United Way’s Emergency and Homelessness Prevention Fund

This fund provides assistance up to $750 to ensure that families and individuals avoid homelessness, unemployment, and hospitalization. This fund has no restrictions, however all requests must relate to the maintenance of stable housing, employment, financial stability, and physical and mental health.

Utility Assistance Grants

CDBG Grant assistance for Utility payments only (heat or electric) – NO cable or internet

  • Must be a Kingston resident or household.
  • Need must have some connection to the pandemic (for example: lost wages, illness of self or others who needed caregiving, substance abuse relapse).
