Mentor/Mentee Dinner: Psychological First Aid

Whether it’s due to a disaster or other big event or it’s just the accumulation of daily challenges and demands, stress is part of life for all of us. Sometimes our response to stress – or the response of those around us – can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be that way. This workshop will explain what’s going on in our bodies and minds when we experience challenges so you understand what’s behind those emotional reactions, and it will provide practical skills for managing your own stress and for coping with the stressed-out people in your life.
This event is open to past present and future mentee/mentors. You can also bring an interested friend or family member.
