Virtual Stress Management Workshop

Join Amy Summers for a Stress Management Workshop open to Mentors, Mentees, and friends to the program. Stress is a basic human survival mechanism left over from our primordial roots which helps us respond to perceived dangers. Long term consequences from continued stress can result in poor digestion, inhibited tissue repair, heart disease, and more. Learn how to reduce your response to stressors. During this workshop, you will learn yogic breathing techniques, a body scan technique, balanced living exercise, and other strategies to help you cope with stressful situations.
