Community REsiliency

We help communities prepare for, prevent, and respond to challenges, from crisis support and disaster relief to emergency response. Together, we can address urgent needs today for a better tomorrow.

Our Key Programs

Associates Leadership Group

The Associates Leadership Group connects young professionals ages 25–39 who are passionate about giving back, growing as leaders, and creating lasting change in Ulster County. Members gain opportunities for leadership development, professional networking, volunteerism, and community engagement while building meaningful connections with peers who share a commitment to philanthropy and advocacy. Through events, service projects, and hands-on experiences, Associates Leadership Group empowers the next generation of community leaders to make their mark.

Youth Council

The Youth Council empowers students ages 8–15 to discover the power of leadership, service, and philanthropy at an early age. Participants engage in volunteer projects, team-building activities, and community initiatives that help them develop confidence, compassion, and civic responsibility. By giving young people a voice and opportunities to lead, Youth Council inspires the next generation to become active changemakers in their schools and communities.

Community Impact Program

Workplace Campaigns bridge the relationship between companies and nonprofit organizations and their HR or leadership departments to engage employees with community service and giving opportunities. These campaigns invest thousands of dollars into our nonprofit partners.

HELPS Program

Housing Emergency, Livelihood Protection and Stability Program

We steward an emergency assistance fund that enables us to provide individuals and families facing urgent financial crises with one-time grants. This critical support helps stabilize households, offering a pathway toward long-term well-being.

NonProfits United

NonProfits United brings nonprofit organizations together to strengthen their operations, increase collaboration, and build long-term sustainability. Through shared learning opportunities, expert guidance, and peer connections, participating organizations gain support in key areas such as financial management, communications, technology systems, governance, strategic planning, and organizational development. By fostering innovation and collaboration, NonProfits United helps nonprofits work smarter, grow stronger, and expand their impact throughout the community.

Incubator Program

The Incubator Program supports emerging and growing nonprofit organizations by providing the tools, resources, and guidance needed to build a strong foundation for success. Through hands-on support in areas such as operations, leadership development, strategic planning, communications, and financial systems, organizations can focus on advancing their mission while developing sustainable practices for the future. The Incubator creates a collaborative environment where new ideas can grow into lasting community impact.
